Instant Family of Five

I have been neglecting the group shamefully for the past few months, and there's a reason why. In March, my husband and I were matched by the state Child Protective Services agency with siblings, ages one, two and three. They came to live with us and our two dogs, and we hope to finalize the adoption next month. Thank you to those who have been supportive about this huge change in our lives. We've gone from being a married couple in our 40s who have never had children to an instant family of five.

Things are smoothing out and I should be able to participate in the group a bit better this fall.
